yes, i know - i've been a real slacker this week. and now i must catch up! same old story ~ busy week, time flew by, lots going on, etc. etc. lyle was sick, then i was sick - work, school, play, work, party, date nite, sick again, cold snap . . . it was crazy!
good moments follow . . . buying yet another cool as shit chair off of craigslist for five dollars (it's turquoise vinyl, circa 1960, danish-style, and oh so cool) . . . playing a million games of candyland with my sick bub . . . pumpkin pie from whataburger . . . painting christmas ornaments in the park with our friends (yay, the holidays are here!) . . . making ice cream sundaes for lyle's class on friday (they were studying "I" all week) . . . playing baseball in the backyard with the bub on a pretty afternoon . . . finding micah in weird places around the house (see above) . . . sending out invitations to my holiday party (it's going to be so fun!) . . . and sending out invitations to lyle's birthday party (he's so excited!) . . . eating dinner and drinking beers by the fire at la tuna with my sweetie . . . shopping at HEB late at nite with my sweetie (we always buy the weirdest things when we do that - pumpkin muffins, a iron man transformer, smore makings, holiday beer, and a book) . . . snuggling with my guys in the warm bed on a chilly morning . . . bathing the bub and laughing at him in his new speed racer pj's (too funny) . . . watching the amazing race while chowing down on vietnamese spring rolls . . . all in all, it was a good week. here's hoping that this week will be even better ~ i'd like to avoid the sick parts if possible :)
