another week past . . . and now only two days until thanksgiving ~ crazy! last week was a bit hectic trying to fit everything in so the bub and i could take off to houston for the first part of this week, while sweet sean works his wine-selling booty off at the big, busy grocery store in san antonio :)
his last day off was friday - and we got to have lunch that day at lyle's school. it was supposed to be a picnic, but of course, that had to be the day that it actually got cold in sa! so, we had our picnic in the classroom and chatted with other parents while the kiddos played and played. saturday morning i took lyle to a birthday party (for his classmate charles' bday) ~ birthday parties are pretty much the bomb for the bub since at parties you get two of lyle's most favorite things, cake and a goody bag :) he had lots of fun and scored a great bag of goodies which he then went through and sorted about a zillion times as we made our way to houston that afternoon :)
since we've been here, we've done pretty much nothing! yay!! lyle has been spoiled rotten by both sets of grandparents, and i have slept in until 9am the past two mornings ~ how glorious that is. tomorrow we're planning to see jenny and her kiddos at the cheese for some crazy fun ~ hopefully the kids will entertain each other, so jenny and i can actually talk and catch up! then i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i'll get to see my dear friend, diane, for dinner and drinks later on. wednesday we head back to sa - for turkey day and the bub's birthday ~ so much to be thankful for . . .
oh! i finally got new batteries for my camera! be on the lookout for an entry of just pictures ~ i have lots of stuff to share with you.
