well, here i am at the end of the day wondering what i am most thankful for . . . and because my brain is mush, i haven't come up with anything sweet, brilliant, witty or humorous yet :)
hmmmm . . . i'm glad that i made it through. i wasn't feeling too hot this morning ~ all this sinus-y crap ~ so i wasn't sure i would. work was fine - i cleaned the house this evening - i watched the project runway finale (good stuff) - and i drank a beer with dinner.
the bub was awesome and funny - he colored a picture of a fire truck today, and for the first time ever, he colored in the lines. not that i'm big into that - i don't really understand why coloring is necessary - i know it improves their motor skills and all - but why restrict a bub at age 5? why can't he scribble-scrabble all over the page? cy twombly made quite a remarkable name for himself as an artist by scribbling up a friggin' storm. but, as usual, i digress . . . the bub told me that he won't scribble-scrabble anymore - he plans to "color nicely" from now on. i said he could be a little more reckless in his coloring at home - but he decided to go all the way with his nice coloring. so, no more scribble scrabble for the bub it would seem. ahhh, he's growing up :)
i am thankful that sean's hard work has paid off - his wine/beer department is all ready for the store's big grand opening tomorrow nite! he's been working twelve hour days for the past two weeks - and now he gets to bask in the glory of his rockin' department. lyle and i get the full tour tomorrow nite - can't wait :)
guess i figured out something to write about - i never seem to be at a loss for words. now, i'm ready to hit the hay and then do it all over again tomorrow :)
