yes, i know, i know . . . i missed the whole weekend. i truly suck. the weekend was LONG ~ sean worked late both nights, and i wasn't motivated to do much at all. lyle and i went to a birthday party on saturday ~ lyle loved it. i was frightened by the big, dark, loud arcade/pizza place where the party was held ~ yikes. it was like chuck e. cheese on acid and steroids - a bit much for me - even a bit much for lyle - but i know he had much fun. he won enough tickets to score a cool golden harmonica - he's got a knack for playing instruments - i'm so digging that :)
today we painted pumpkins in the park with the playgroup. 27 pumpkins were painted ~ very fun! the weather was wonderful albeit a little windy - but at least it felt like fall as we painted our orange gourds :) i wish i had a pic to share, but i forgot my camera - bad mama! i'm hoping another good mama got a shot of the bub - maybe so. sean made tacos for dinner tonite - love that - and we washed it down with a Shiner Holiday Ale. so freakin' good! it's like a Shiner Bock but faintly flavored with peaches and pecans. oh, how i love the holidays - and holiday brews!! ho, ho, ho :)
i know, still no pic of my stylin' shoes :( i'm working on it! i think tomorrow's post may be all pictures to make up for all of these ramblings i've been posting as of late . . .
