6 ~ begin the begin

while driving from san antonio to houston today listening to old REM the whole way, my love affair with michael and the boys was rekindled. i think "begin the begin" from Life's Rich Pageant is most probably the best song ever - i've always loved it - and today i got to feel it all up close again :) anyway - the bub didn't complain once about my music selection on the drive - that's unusual. though the bub has pretty good taste in tunes, he always wants me to play his favorite song over and over again. now, his fave song happens to be by bob schneider - who i love, love, love - but listening to it like twenty times in a row is a bit much. today lyle just rode along listening to one of the greatest bands of all time and never made a peep - for that i am most thankful :) i am also glad to have arrived safely. now, let the fun begin!
