man, i've been such a slacker this week - so much for my "daily" journal :) i do actually have an excuse for missing yesterday - i had an awful migraine that just cleared up a few hours ago - blah. but, i can say that i am thankful to have it gone - now hopefully i'll have a 'headache-free' weekend!
sean and i went to a show at lyle's school yesterday morning - what a hoot! his class performed, and they were all awesome. they sang, marched and played instruments. lyle actually sang loud enough that we could almost hear him :) so sweet and wonderful - he really cracked us up! after that we went to a book fair in the library - it looked like a friggin' barnes & noble in there! lyle could have stayed all day choosing books to buy - but he was eventually okay with his carefully chosen selection of five books. he had to have a star wars book - now, where has he actually seen star wars? those commmercials really do a number on the kids - guess maybe i should turn off the tv. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! that'll NEVER happen :)
today was chilly and crisp and beautiful. i had a whataburger pumpkin pie in the afternoon - i think that's what cured my headache. pumpkin pie makes everything better :) it's the weekend - yay!!! and i get to sleep in tomorrow ~ double and triple YAY! sleep well :)
