16 ~ pretty blog

ooh-la-la! now i have a pretty blog! thanks to this cool site i found called 'the cutest blog on the block' i now have a fancy background - and thanks to all of the free backgrounds available i can change it up depending on my mood ~ and i can get pretty moody. just ask sean :)

well - i missed another entry! ugh. i need to shape up - this is serious stuff i'm doing here :) it seems that this month is crazy and busy - and almost over?!! what happened to october? the holidays are upon us i'm afraid. i LOVE the holidays though - especially since i no longer work in retail. when you work retail, you pretty much loathe the months of september through december. sean will be working a lot from now on - we'll get to spend time with him in january :)

so, what am i thankful for at this moment? a smart bub who is writing letters and sounding them out like crazy ~ a sweet husband who is working his booty off at the big, new HEB ~ the cool breeze ~ my psycho cat micah who can't decide if he wants to be outside or inside ~ the birds who are happily chirping outside my window ~ the trip to sayulita we're planning for april ~ the costume i get to make for lyle next week (i love to make costumes!) ~ the cold front blowing through tonite ~ that it's pumpkin pie season! ~ that all of the stores are putting out their holiday decorations ~ and that my jeans fit today.

i know i promised a pic of my smokin' new shoes - but i didn't get a chance to take one just yet. this one of the bub will have to do until i get my act together!
